Remember the time, when mobile phones were uncustomary. As kids we relied on telephones to have conversation with friends. The six digit number of friends got into our nerves over a time. In fact I still remember some of those numbers.

Telephones I think were more social than today’s mobile phones. Its ring was heard everywhere in home from its usual place and any family member can answer the call. If anyone elderly speaks from other side then we say namaste, our name and whom we want to talk to. Then we often hear that person calling our friend by funny and cute home name that often get famous in school later. These telephonic conversation were like between two family through the medium of children.

Narrating questions & answers to friends on phone or asking them to do so, matching maths answers and reminding each other school homework. The talks were quite precious and more close to heart than today's whatsup and Instagram talks. We dont use to message first and ask are you free or can we talk and then call, we have to call to ask for that also unlike today. Making and getting calls always felt happy as it also let me to show off to my family about number of friends I have and how much we study.
